I recommend Logitech mx 620 cordless laser, 6 buttons and very very long battery life, nice ergonomic feel to it as well.

It's no gaming mouse so no adjustable dpi or weights but feels sturdy with the batteries anyways.
When new they retailed for about 49usd so should fit your budget with that keyboard.

Well I bumped my budget up to 150. I picked up a razer death adder and i m ordered a ten keyless mechanical keyboard. I expect both of them to last me 5 years.

sick let us know how the death adder feels for ya. my G5 is going on 3 or 4 years, so it might die soon.

I got it from amazon for $10 off.

First thing I noticed is that when moving it around its very smooth. The plastic "feet" created way less friction then my old mouse. It has a curve to it that is designed for a right handed person which I like, (even though I m really left handed. Damn educational system screwed me over with that one)

I m still getting used to it of course but I m about 90% of where I was with my old mouse. The drivers allow for a whole mess of customizing (you can even turn the back led off) which is nice. I haven't tried switching the dpi settings in a game but I can set up the side buttons to do so.
