Default Zalman VF3000n cooler

I'm thinking of getting this but I read a 3DGuru review where they snapped a resistor off the card putting one of the heatsinks on which has put me off it.

Anyone got any experience installing one of these on a GTX275? Anyone got any reccomendations for other after market coolers?

I put the amd flavor vf3000 on my 5870 and it was extremely easy. Can't say if the 275 would be any more difficult though. You just have to be careful not to hit any resistors, but I didn't have any problems.

This heatsink should work nicely on your card as well. I've used them on our 5970 and 580 and they've been great upgrades. massive temp drops and total silence

Edit- Oops quite old thread
