There's something screwy going on with the fonts. Some sort of last minute mistake? If you go to about:config and filter to:

gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params.rendering_mode

Notice that value is set to -1. WTF. Valid values are from 0 to 5.

0 = default, 1 = aliased, 2 = GDI Classic, 3 = GDI Natural, 4 = Natural, 5 = Natural Symmetric

I just set mine to 0, looks normal again.

Good find. That is strange.

Now the PC next to the PC I updated to 7 yesterday at work is saying 6.0.2 is up to date also. These PC's are near identical!

Oh well, might as well wait for FF8... maybe 9, or 10 even. Will they call 10 X like Apple with OS's or Adobe did with Acrobat? I guess we'll find out in 3 days when it's released.

Now I figured out that Firefox 7 64bit wasnt ready at launch so Mozilla skipped it to Firefox 8, the 64bit nightly build is very stable and 10% faster than 32bit version as of 20 July 2011.

Now you can tell a person at work that 64bit version could be ready when Firefox 8 launch around November 2011.

Able to download now, and 7.0.1 is out also. Seems like something needed fixing.

I like. I like so much, I have switched back from Chrome. I got sick of Chrome not displaying graphics, getting "No data received" pages like 15 times a night.

FF7 is a vast improvement in speed as well. On dialup it "might" be like a 1/2 second slower, but it displays everything.
