Hi,
I googled a lot but could not find any clear statemant or solution for this problem. ![]() I'm using a GeForce 9600 GT and the driver version 280.13 on openSUSE 11.4. I have a TwinView-Setup, using the left screen (a Samsung LED-TV) for video-playback and the right screen (a Philips LCD-Screen) for "normal windows". Both displays are connected using DVI. I set the right screen as primary screen. I'm using KDE 4.7 with compositing enabled. Sadly I have a lot of tearing on the Video-Screen, it's no difference if I use VDPAU or XV. I have enabled Sync to VBlanc in nvidia-settings and choosen the Samsung-Screen. Is there no way to get TwinView + Composite + VSync working? |

Thanks for the quick reply
If I disable compositing the vsync works fine, but I don't want to disable compositing. Is there no way with using compositing? Is there a possibility to disable compositing without restarting X "on the fly"? |
