Default no gnome-shell with driver 280.13 on Fedora 15

Hi,

On my workstation I have a Geforce 210(GT218) with latest proprietary drivers (280.13).
It's not able to use gnome3-shell and reverts to fallback mode.

Default Re: no gnome-shell with driver 280.13 on Fedora 15

Now, i searched and found a solution for me, don't know if it's the correct way but it runs.

first i add in the Section "Files" the following two lines, so that the X-Server picks up
the correct libglx.so. Without this change the one from
/usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so (xorg-x11-server-Xorg-1.10.4-1.fc15.x86_64) was taken.
Code:
    ModulePath "/usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions/nvidia"
    ModulePath "/usr/lib64/xorg/modules"
and at last i moved th libglx.so from the X-Server away, so that it could not be taken.
Code:
mv /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so.xorg
the Xorg.0.log files tells me now that the correct lib form /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions/nvidia is taken.

The original problem was because you already had a File section in /etc/X11/xorg.conf that override the one located in /etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/00-nvidia.conf

But how should look the File Section in /etc/X11/xorg.conf
that the GLX Modus works, without moving
/usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so to /usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions/libglx.so.xorg. ?
