Where do I put the environment variable __GL_SYNC_TO_VBLANK? Do i put it in my Xorg.conf file and if so under what section?
http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree8...hapter-11.html My system currently sees my CRT as my primary monitor in twinview. I would like it to see my DFP as the primary monitor so that vertical screen tearing only takes place on the CRT not the DFP. Thanks, PEZ |

Not in xorg, just as an environmental variable, so just put:
export __GL_SYNC_TO_VBLANK="1" in .bashrc or somewhere where your distro wants it to be set. E.g. for Gentoo it should be /etc/env.d/99local |

Ok, I placed the line

Is there a way to check if the system is seeing the LCD "DFP-0" as the primary monitor? This was in attempt to fix screen tearing on the LCD but I am still experiencing the problem. I am trying to force my system to see my LCD monitor as the primary monitor over my CRT so that I can get rid of screen tearing on the LCD. I don't care if there is screen tearing on the CRT. Any insight would be great! Thanks, PEZ |
