It's not an OTA update, but you have to restore through iTunes. See link.

I'll wait for a jailbreak...
EDIT: I'll wait for an untethered jailbreak, they already have tethered ones that work with iOS GM. |

I'll wait too, it seems this is a full system restore that will wipe the device, then you have to restore your data.

You guys will really enjoy it. Addresses A LOT of concerns we have brought up on the forums. Been beta testing it for a month or so now and it's 10-fold over iOS4.

Hopefully it won't turn the phone into a slow POS.

Hmmm after I backup my ipod, iTune 10.4.1 worked fine but after installed iTune 10.5 beta 7 it failed to launched. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled iTune beta but it still failed to launched so I reinstalled iTune 10.4.1 and it launched fine.
Wonder why the latest beta didnt worked on mine while some of you managed to get it launched? If here no workaround then guess I have to wait until 12 October for official release.

I found iOS5 has my iPhone 4 running better than ever. It's not like the 3G going from iOS3 to iOS4. |
