Default SSD RAID 0 Stripe Size?

Hi guys, I was just poking round in the Intel RST app and saw they recommend 16K for SSDs in Raid 0. Mine is currently set to 128k. Most people recommend 64 or 128k as SSDs can struggle with small writes. I know Intel drives are considered to be the best, perhaps 16k works best with them? Even then is the on-board controller suitable?

A thought perhaps?

Go with 128 or larger.

64k is good for DB work.

Like always, depend on what you use the drive for.
No "one size fit all" solution. Smaller sizes are better for managing smaller files, larger stripes for large sequential access.
As the universe is curved, there cannot be a straight answer...
