How to increase the draw distance of objects on the sand, grass, tire marks? Wood on the sand still appears in real time. Even when I disable LOD.
My settings: v_vehicle_quality = 4 e_water_ocean_soft_particles = 1 r_UseSoftParticles = 1 r_SSAO = 1 r_SSAO_quality = 2 r_ShadowBlur = 3 e_detail_materials_view_dist_xy = 4096 e_detail_materials_view_dist_z = 256 e_view_dist_ratio_vegetation = 45 e_view_dist_ratio_detail = 30 e_view_dist_ratio = 80 e_vegetation_sprites_distance_ratio = 1,5 e_vegetation_sprites_distance_custom_ratio_min = 1 e_max_view_dst_spec_lerp = 1 e_lod_ratio = 8 e_lod_min = 0 ![]() Forum Image Host |

im pretty sure you just need to increase
e_detail_materials_view_dist_z to something like 512 or 1024 |

ok then, track down this value:
e_view_dist_ratio_vegetation and set that value to something like 60 or maybe even 90 (double "very high") if that has no effect, try increasing e_cull_veg_activation and set that value to something like 80 or 100 (tbh tho i think this is just to do with physics activation) lol sorry it's been a while since i played around with the crysis cfg's. fingers crossed at least one of the above increased values does the trick. |

Try one of these. This is my own from my own config and it doesn't draw close.
Code:
r_DetailNumLayers = 2 r_VegetationSpritesTexRes = 128 r_DynTexAtlasSpritesMaxSize = 32 r_TexAtlasSize = 2048 e_vegetation_bending = 2 e_vegetation_min_size=0 e_proc_vegetation=1 e_vegetation_use_terrain_color=1 e_vegetation_sprites_distance_custom_ratio_min = 1 e_vegetation_sprites_distance_ratio=1.5 e_cull_veg_activation = 60 |

Hmm, I see what you mean. I'll have to play about with the settings and see myself. I'll let you know if I find a solution.
