Default (Need for Speed) Shift 2: Unleashed release date

http://www.needforspeed.com/post/shi...date-announced

They no longer associate it with NFS, They just call it Shift 2: Unleashed

Anyway, release date is:

Europe on March 24 & 25 and North America on March 29

I don't think there are any Ferraris.

Nice but GT5 has taken away a lot of anticipation towards Shift 2 for me. Plus I really want Dirt 3 more so.

it does support pc and for that price, it had damn well better use a load cell.

But does it even have a load cell brake pedal?
I saw a review at insidesimracing. It has no load cell just some adjustable spring adapter you place under the brake pedal. For that price it doesn't even come with a shifter. Terrible.

I'll only get Shift 2 if the physics are better than GT5.

the most realistic racer ever... hmm...

we'll see about that.

I wonder if these reviewers like IGN who are claiming "feels like the experience of racing" have ACTUALLY raced in these types of events and cars?

All of the various racing sims have slowly allowed you to bang up the expensive, licensed cars you take out on the race track, but developer Slighly Mad Studios is taking that even further with Shift 2. "Last year we had visual damage and performance damage, but we had kid gloves on," says Abney. "This year we have full, race-ending-state damage engine. You can bounce tires, rip off axles -- really destroy your car and end your race day.
I'm very interested in better damage. I also like the idea of a helmet view. All they have to do is get the handling right when you turn off all the aids and it's a winner.
