Hi,
I've a brand new Dell M6600 with a Quadro 4000M in it; X hangs during startup and the X driver complains with the following: [ 615.863] (EE) NVIDIA(0): EVO Push buffer channel allocation failed [ 615.863] (EE) NVIDIA(0): *** Aborting *** [ 615.863] (EE) NVIDIA(0): Failed to allocate EVO DMA push buffer [ 615.863] (EE) NVIDIA(0): *** Aborting *** I "fixed" it by disabling all IOMMU/DMAR and INTR_REMAP features in the kernel. Please have a look at this, as I'd like to make use of the VT features. Attached a bug report in the non-working case. Thanks! |
