Ok guys a good way to tell if your FOV is at a good setting is look at something square in the middle of the screen. Then, move your nouse up till the top of the square is at the top of the screen...if the square turns into a rectangle then your fov is too high. I noticed this at anything above 80 FOV with a 1920x1200 resolution.

At the end of the day its personal preference...I dont like FOV too high because 1. i get noticeable fisheye effect. 2. Without ADS enemies in the distance are smaller and even sometimes not on screen where they would be if the FOV was lower. 3. Can't stand how far the zoom is when i ADS at anything above 80 FOV.

Increasing FPS & FOV is by no way cheating...by that logic, having a faster CPU than someone would be cheating. What about people who reassign their controls,,,is that cheating? Gaming is not NASCAR...

1920x 1200. 80-120 FPS. I have played both BC2 and BF3. My FOV for BC2 was 90 and my FOV is 115 for BF3. You would not believe how much more you can see by increasing your FOV...

Do it...you won't regret it!!!

Low 80's with new card. 1920X1080. Everything maxed out.

even at the hotel at Oman, and the TV station on Sharqi? i can get a constant 60 fps on every map except those places. something to do with the mesh quality since the june patch, before then i didnt have this issue....
