yet some people will say COD MW3 is "ugly" or Consolized... The FOV needs to have a slider, but as for the graphics I have no issue with them... at all. Next to BF3 I think it stands up just fine!

the maps are just way too small...even for mw standards :/...

not sure if they intentionally did this so people will buy dlc maps :/

I haven't played BF3 yet, so I can't judge on that. Otherwise CoD is the benchmark when it comes to great military shooter SP experiences.
Yeah, Modern Warfare SP was good but I still like BF3 SP better. CoD just seems to throw too many enemies at you.

I might just get this...too me the graphics don't look that bad, as long as they're equivalent to MW2...I'm ok with it. Does the MP look the same as SP ?

yea, but they slowed the game play feels like running in molasses. And the FOV makes me sick. Graphics aren't the problem, just change that one setting to native otherwise you get 720p scaled to your resolution, aka 360 quality which looks like garbage on a PC monitor. Once you change that to native you are good to go though. SP is epic as usual... MP is lacking (limited FOV and locked 91 fps only in MP), I still prefer BF3 TDM over COD MW3.

Given how old the base is, they did an impressive job over the years!

Some of the scenes in the SP are simply jaw dropping - I had goosebumps quite a few times already
glad too see i'm not the only one that thinks MW3 looks good. it's definately a nice improvement from the last installment! probably because of the ambient occlusion ...

SSAO adds more depth to the scene for sure. DICE did well with this in BF3 in the forum of HBAO. SSAO looks bad in some games because they over do it on everything, like over hanging lines. I'd rather have ambient Occlusion on.
