The assumption was the res wasn't changing... but now we know it was an issue with the textures.

LOL. they are just realizing now this is the same game re-skinned. I swear console gamers are just stupid. At least we've all known it's the same thing over and over again... I guess it makes sense they line up like sheep to the slaughter to buy the Madden roster update every year for $60. Stupid is as stupid does.

Maybe i m not enough intelligent enough or enough of a unique snowflake to play battlefield 3, but I will get this at some point and have a blast with it.

Finally, what I ve seen of the graphics is that this is a step above the other cod games.

yea, that was before they were in stock. Once they came in stock and were european and not russian they settled on $48. I had $5 in credits from past purchases so I got mine for $44.

No problem. The gameplay is very polished and smooth. So, it seems like for once we got a release that wasn't buggy as hell!

Honestly, it's exactly the same as MW2. I really don't care about pubbing in P2P games. I play in leagues with a team, and we have a dedicated server pre-ordered. Plus, you should be able to enable all guns and disable whichever perks/killstreaks you want on the server side, so it will be fun.

So I am not upset with my purchase, I will get plenty of game play out of it. Although, I am a little disappointed with how they essentially repackaged MW2 and just released it. I mean, there's little to no extra work done in this game compared to MW2. MW2 at least was a brand new game compared to COD4, but this isn't different at all...

I will be pubbing some tonight with some friends. Maybe I'll see some of you there.
