I posted this in another thread
I ordered another 2TB samsung F4 a couple of weeks ago for $89 shipped from newegg. Today it's $230 ![]() I was planning on re-organizing all my movies on a few of the F4's inside this thing http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817576001 I guess not anymore. :/ From what I've read, there's really not even a real shortage on anything right now. I think it's the market's hysteria partly to blame. Kinda like during hurricane season when an oil rig gets hit, all of a sudden the media makes it out like there will be a terrible gasoline shortage/famine and all the retards buy into it and gas stations suddenly are charging a buck more per gallon. Anyways, as of yesterday afternoon, I actually found that CDW HDD prices are still the same but some are back ordered. I have 2 of those samsung F4's ordered from them for $212 shipped but the order status says they're backordered till mid december. I can wait. It beats paying those outrageous prices for sure.

no, shortages are starting to come. PC retailers are stocking heavily, as supply *IS* disrupted and as such accelerating the shortage. However, as the damages are real, it will take time to stabilize.
No cheap storage for a while ![]() I just hope this pushes SSD prices down as their volume should go up...

what is weird is that HDD prices are affected, but nothing else. there is a ****load of other products build in that region.
