Very awkward. The way NPCs move with their weapons drawn is really odd.

Have you done the .ini tweaks to turn off mouse acceleration and vsync?

Mouse is fine for me.

Gotta say, I really like the melee combat in this game. I'm going the sword & board route right now and fighting undead. Blocking and slashing just feels right. Kudas, Bethesda!

Yea..its a pain having to switch weapons in this game...

here is hoping for a mod to have a item bar like in might and magic/etc...

enjoying the game so far..looks and feels better than rage in terms of the world being alive. just have some strange character animations...

highly recommend people look up ini tweaks for skyrim as a few tweaks here and there will make the game better especially the self shadow on trees/land/etc...60fps lock for me with 2xaa/max details. there are some strange fps drops and i also dont feel like its using my cpu/gpu's as well as it should. bf3 looks way more amazing and can give higher fps.

anyone else getting strange stutters tho? it says 60fps but when u move..its just...strange..there is no hdd activity / etc...so its not that i am running low on vram/ram...

reading online suggest to lock ure fps to 59..something about 64/and glitching...

the inventory system is annoying to navigate as well

Guys,

You can set hotkeys for your items.

(They first have to be added to your favorite list.)

Afterwards, bring up your favorite list, and while you have an item highlighted, press the key you want to bind it to. (1-9)

Enjoy!

I HATE this game. I sat down ready to play all night then about 3 minutes into the game I began to get nauseated. It was horrible. It lasted all night. I could only play for a half an hour. The movement in this game makes me sick. Some games do this to me and I can't play them. I'll give it a go Saturday and hope it was just temporary.

No, I don't own the game (yet) but when I tried it, that just pissed me off beyond belief.

EDIT: wait - WHAT? Turn off vsync? Good lord, why would you want screen tearing?
