Have you tried the .ini fix? What kind of mouse have you got? Also in the in-game menu disable xbox360 controller.I use a microsoft sidewinder set at 2000dpi,with mouse acceleration off,no lag here.

What?! So it's simply not possible to run at ultra on a nehalem CPU? Was gonna get this but now that I know it's just not possible to run at ultra on my rig, I'll have to pass up on it. Thanks for the heads up on that Tom!

wait.. so why can I run on ultra settings using my bloomfield i7??

Or is that referring to you can run all ultra settings except for the texture quality and radial blur quality drop down menu settings??

because on the launcher, I tell it to set to ultra and it maxes everything out exept those 2 say "high" instead of ultra.

That's wrong. I can run multisample 8XAA at 1920x1080 and get 30-40fps on my setup. Anyone with a better rig than me will do it easy. There are some frame rate drops but that's more to do with some optimising game issue than specs.

If you survive a hit from them, you won't survive the impact of whatever it is your barely alive body is thrashed against.

I thought I got lucky when I got hit by 1. I slipped off a ledge by mistake and just HAPPENED to fall right into one of their bonfire camps and it was all over

At this point they're pretty easy as long as I keep my distance.

LOL. I like how the people and animals warn you if you get too close, rather than outright attack you. Ugh those spiders are nasty, don't like spiders at the best of times.

Got the game in the mail from Gamefly. So far I have had not one problem with it making me sick. Being across the room makes it ok. It is half the game on the Xbox but it will have to do. I am having a blast though.

I come into the computer room, look at my son playing it on the puter, grumble then walk out to my wittle toy console. It wasn't all bad. My son brought me a juice box to refresh me while playing.

Why don't you try dramamine? It may allow you to play it on your computer.
