the more i play the game the more i admire it. the games intro was so washed out and drab looking, you have to put some hours into Skyrim before you see the beauty there is and how huge and live it all is. I hated Fallout, but loved Oblivion as i do with Skyrim

here is an awesome video showing the day/night cycle

Some more shots. Couple of panoramic shots I did as well as me looking like a boss in my daedric armor. It's better than dragon armor if you're into heavy armor. The dragon armor is in the light armor class I believe though there are 2 variations: dragon plate armor and scale armor. I've got a mountain of dragon bones/scales I'm going to craft a full set of dragon plate armor for lydia. She's been using that dragon plate helmet since the first cave I took her to. I'm surprised I got it that early in the game (around level 25). right now she's in full dwarven armor all with heavy enchants.

Oh and if you want daedric armor/weapons, do NOT get rid of any daedra hearts you find. Hoard them. Each daedric artifact requires a truck load of ebony ingots and a daedra heart. So buy ALL the ebony ingots you can and don't sell/give away those daedric hearts.

Oh and give your companion health/stamina potions. If they're getting their ass kicked, they'll pop potions to stay alive and in the fight instead of taking a knee to catch their breath.

I've been working towards getting Dragon Armor. Really at this point I just need to max smithing, and I'm pretty close. Nearing the 60 hour mark with no signs of getting burned out. You were right that the game gets better and better the more you play it. Not to mention with mods and DLC...not sure I need to play another game ever again.

Gonna backtrack on my gamepad comments. KB+M is by far superior even with the crazy menu focus issues.

No real need to take smithing to 100 to be honest. Daedric armor is better unless you're putting a focus on light armor skills/perks.

Yeah I'm focused on Light Armor. I suppose I could always do both eventually but it seems like merely increasing your skill doesn't have as much or any effect on your armor unless you dump perks into the trees, and I'm level 39 at the moment so I doubt I can switch to heavy armor at this point.

Level 13 and i have all the tactics i'll ever need to beat just about anything.

Destruction impact perk makes me a ****ing badass. Hehehe. Dragons are getting easy. Especially if there is a handy pillar nearby.

Nope i've defeated 9 or 10 high level bosses, plus 12 dragons mostly with the apprentice level firebolt spell duel cast.

Anyone else prefer playing this with a 360 pad? I spent most of my time with the game using mouse and keyboard controls, but tried my 360 pad and found it much smoother. It's all the UI but still. I like the feedback from the controller too.
