Hey guys

Wow check this out

TESV Acceleration Layer SKSE Plugin offers upto 40% increase in some cities!

Just tryed it in Whiterun at the gates to the city/town

without 46.3 fps with SKSE+plugin 56.7 fps!

Reading the thread linked to this plugin it seems that this guy has just added standard code optimization flags via a plugin, some thing that beth could have added to there own compiled code with just a few mouse clicks! ......

Laters
Giz

BTW this plugin only works with the latest beth 4gb update patch (1.3.10.0) and the latest SKSE

What? They're using x87 floating point and not something thats a bit more modern?

Game developers really need to be more serious about PC gaming these days...

reading it up and a lot of people are saying they are seeing a lot of increases

Quote:
because the developers at Bethesda, for some reason, compiled the game without using any of the optimization flags for release builds.
i think this is great for cities/etc where the fps does hurt a bit..

the tweak is now on tweakguides as well

Does this replace 4GB Skyrim?
http://www.skyrimnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=1013

Has helped reduce my crashes a lot...

Hopefully Bethesda will come out with a patch soon to correct this embarrassing oversight...

You don't need the 4GB mod any more - it's now built into 1.3.10 TESV.exe.

Wow, whatever they did, the game looks better for some reason and ran great, not that it didn't before. I haven't crashed since the 4GB patch and I would drop to desktop after hours of playing often.

This game is just too awesome for words.
