Oooh... how do I explain it?

Well first you choose a game. Naturally I chose Skyrim. There are some questions regarding Skyrim you have to answer. Each question you answer right, you get awarded so many points. The "newer" the question, the more points it's worth. Watch the videos about the game and you're awarded 5 points per video you watch.

Each video game costs 100 points. I've already got 155 points. These last videos have been a bit on the long side. Once I'm done with these skyrim videos I'm going to go take all the quizes for RAGE and watch those videos. My goal is to earn 300 points, that's 100 points for Skyrim, 100 points for RAGE, and finally 100 points for Prey 2 when it comes out.

At first the physics and character movements bothered me. Also what appears to be a lack of polygons on some items like rocks or such. That first part where the dragon is attacking the city, chunks of buildings are bouncing all around- it reminded me of the physics in HL1 where there'd be an explosion, part of the building would collapse and how the debris acted is very similar to Skyrim.

All in all it is a great game and I am now hooked to it. I guess for now I'm focusing on the main quest. Just went to the grey beards. And that Lydia chick... She doesn't seem to enthusiastic about her duties.

yeah I've been using it a little and I'm still on the fence about it. it makes the dark areas darker. you almost have to carry a torch in one hand through dungeons which I guess makes it a little more challenging but it also seems to over expose and wash out lighting inside some areas.

So I would say give it a shot and see what you think. some areas are nice and some are ok and some are in my opinion, not as good.

Why are you waiting? Isn't the availability good? The 7970 is on stock here at quite a few shops. Some cards are sold out for now but there are still a lot of cards ready to ship.
price gouging in Australia is at a ridiculous level atm.

Just beat the main quest. It's... ending was a little underwhelming imo. Just like with Oblivion you're left wondering what happens to the game world next.

I don't want to say anymore that may spoil the main quest for those that haven't beaten it. However I'm noticing a pattern with TES games- lack of conclusion regarding the main quest. Who became the emperor in TES IV? What of the battles between the Empire and Stormcloak? I can see why they may have chosen to have the quest end with such abruptness, but I think it'd have been a little more satisfying if they had more closure to it.

Just my thoughts. Great game none the less and I'll likely soak a lot more time into it before moving onto another game.

yeah it's almost as if the feud between the stormcloaks and empire is the main quest and the dragons showing up was just a nagging side quest to that. the whole civil war between the 2 factions is still very much the major plot line here though.
