as always...modders come out on top. performance hit was not there as well.

My textures are completely messed up after this patch. It's like they are stuck on low no matter what setting I have them on.

I've been getting CTDs and freezes after 15-20 minutes of play since 1.4 came out. A whole lot of other people have been experiencing the same, mods or not.

You really think so? I think the HD 2k textures look dreadful. The textures just all seem to have loads of grain and high contrast, okay the resolution looks higher because of all the spots and scratches, but it looks bad to my eyes. The HD DLC just looks much smoother and realistic to me and also doesn't seem to have any particularly jarring texture transitions that there seem to be on HD 2k.

The real beauty of all this is that we win. More choice = more Charlie Sheen.

looks great on my screen. the rocks are very detailed.

My monitor? HP LP2475w fully calibrated using colorimeter.

The rocks are very detailed on my screen too, the detail just looks like fake crap, added noise and contrast so it's "Ooh look at all the details in the HD textures." Fap fap fap. To me it looks terrible, like fake boobs once you pop the bra off.
