the warning I give here is that the cards appear to be dual slot. Should have taken the hint when msi packaged extra long sli connectors. The card is actually tri-slot technically. Where it becomes tri slot is it's cooling fans. They stick out just far enough that they will grind against any other card beside it hence the need for 3 slots. If you want to have two high performance gtx 580 3gb cards side by side in sli, I suggest you go for the evga gtx 580 classified 3gb.
