The compiling was finished a month before the console version came out.

So they delayed it further for no reason whatsoever. Lying bastardos. Rocksteady couldn't go out of business fast enough.

After code is compiled it has to go through a QA process. Maybe it has to be certified by Microsoft and Sony. Then it has to be deployed for publishing.

Rage - No need to say anything about this mess.

BF3 - To an extent it run's pretty well, but STILL it has some nasty issues.

Skyrim - Buggy as expected, when people find a work around themselves with the 4GB memory
patch, Bethesda release an update which prevents it from working. Good job!

Batman Arkham City - No DX11 working, 5 activation DRM Securom limit. May even be Securom to blame for poor performance.

Assassin's Creed Revelations - Surely they can't get this wrong, it's the same game as Brotherhood with just new textures and story.

I am actually looking forward to the new Xbox now.

On the PC you get the same game that the consoles are running in higher resolution with better framerate. The PC is not a fixed platform like consoles. QA testing builds is for more complicated so more bugs is just a reality of the PC platform. Games written for PC will always be buggier than games for consoles which have a fixed platform.

On PC I try to avoid rushing out and buying games on day 1. Even if you pre-order it pays to wait a few week for the patches to hit before you start playing. In a season with so many releases it's easy to do.

Been playing for the past few hours and i gotta say, the game seems a lot more complicated than arkham asylum. New players might feel a little lost in this one, it also took me a while to explore the area just to find the entrance to a certain area i need to go. And catwoman is surprisingly fun to play as.

DX11 mode is just as broken as people say. I cant play peacefully without the game stuttering every now and then.

Finished downloading it late last night from Steam and played for around 30mins before going to bed. DX11, sure it is a bit of a bummer its broken on launch but it still looks great in DX9 and a fix will come out soon, really not a big drama for me as the game is still really fun and def a big step up graphics wise over the consoles, 3D vision is great
Only thing that sucks big time is Games for Windows Live I was hoping the Steam version wouldn't have that crap in the game and the secure rom 5 unlock limit WTF??
