I just beat the game. That last boss was unexpected, and the ending was somewhat shocking. I wonder how are they gonna make the sequel. Overall a fairly short game, ended before you know it. But i guess all the extra side missions make up for it.

I'm having a blast with this game. There are so many side missions and things going on in the background, so much chatter to listen to and other broadcasts to "pick up on". The graphics are pretty awesome and the map is absolutely huge.

I know people want everything to be all rainbows and unicorns around here, but this game is the epitome of what's wrong with PC gaming these days. This game is a DRM loaded mess with tacked on PC features that don't even work properly. 5 install limit? Steamworks, GFWL, and SecurRom( thanks for the 5 minute loading times)? DX11 is broken (despite what a few would say)?...wtf?

I loved the first game and I'm sure I'll love this game, but right now I see no reason to grin and bear it like so many others are doing. You accept this garbage and that's what developers will continue to deliver.

there is a patch floating around that is supposed to fix DX11. I think it's for the retail copy.

All these new games that I won't play until they are fixed... Batman AC, COD MW3...

I have applied the fix.. it work. Benchmark give me AVG 47 FPS with Maxed out detail, PHSYX HIGH and FXAA to HIGH in 1080p vs like 15 FPS before.

The actual game is now very playable in DX11, hower between 40 and 60+fps all with PHSYX HIGH. It use about 95% of my SLI setup witch is great.. There's no stutter in gameplay, only when opening doors (loading next area)

Doesn't affect you're save file, only prevent you from connecting to GFWL, but who carez LOL!

DX11 doesn't really bring anything for this game except a performance hit. I've played it both ways and can tell no difference. That one screenshot of that tentacle coming through the bars shows a difference but that is not representative of the game as a whole. After playing with DX11, I'm sticking with DX9 for this game. Just plays better.

Well i do see the difference, but i'am playing on a 106 inch screen so any slight amelioration is very big for me (like DVD vs Bluray) , and it's still play very good

I can see a difference as well, if I couldn't it wouldn't bother me that DX11 was broken. The leak works, and the game is running much better now.

It wouldn't surprise me if this is the actual final patch and it hasn't been released yet because of GFWL needing to approve it.

The patch is out on GFWL you will be prompted to download it. It fixes the performance issues with DX11. On my system it went from unplayable to playable, but it still eats an average of about 10fps. The difference isn't that huge so I am sticking to DX9 for the better frame rates, but I still haven't gone back to this game, still playing Skyrim .

BTW if the patch fails you might have to do it manually. My Green Man Gaming capsule version had issues cause the patch couldn't find the install directory. You'll have to do it manually if it won't auto patch for you.

Open a command prompt type the following:
cd %APPDATA%
cd ..\Local\Microsoft\XLive\Updates\57520fa0

Now find out where your game is installed then in the command prompt type:

setup -f {install directory path}

And change {install directory path} to where your game is located.
