Thumbs up really annoying problem

Okay in my car all my music is on my tmobile G2 droid, okay randomly my music likes to randomly shuffle and start playing a random song out of know where even if shuffle isn't on it plays and pauses random songs its so annoying, I've done lots of different things formatted card in phone, erased and resynced music to the phone, I've erased all music off phone and put it all in google music still the same thing so annoying. I've checked all the wires for my deck and my subs and all that and its all plugged in and all that idk wth is causing it, I've even reset the deck. So really annoying any suggestions? Thanks

Are you plugging the phone in to the radio with the headphone jack? One thing I've noticed is that if I twist the plug sometimes the phone thinks the cord was unplugged and will auto pause the music. I don't think it normally starts playing again but I could be wrong.

That's a tough one. I know when the direct input decks first came out, they had compatibility issues with some MP3 players or phones. Can you try it in a friend's car or something?
