Default [290.10 and earlier] Problems with 9650M GT on Linux/Windows 7.

Since few versions of driver I'm having problems with filckering and artifacts on 9650 M GT, which leads to freeze. "Recovered GPU errors" are counted. I've observed, that it only occurs on level 0 of Power Mizer, also as a workaround I've added following line to my 20-nvidia.conf:
Option "RegistryDwords" "PerfLevelSrc=0x2222"
AFAIK there was already similar problem and it was fixed. Possible regression (I don't remeber version in which it occurred, I think 26x.xx was ok).

My configuration:
Windows 7 SP1 Professional x86_64, nvidia: 285.62
64-bit Arch Linux, kernel 3.1.2, X.Org X Server: 1.11.2, nvidia: 290.10, KDE: 4.7.3

nvidia-bug-report attached, I've added xorg log manually.
