Question NVS300 video sub-image persists over other windows

Replaced a GEFORCE 7200GS with a NVS 300. Running Linux 64-bit.
Using driver: NVIDIA-Linux-x86_64-290.10.run Dual NEC Multisync displays
No change to xorg.conf except comment lines

Useing Firefox to display a YouTube video (of music), when I iconise Firefox,
only that part which was the video, but not all the surrounding material,
remains where it overlapped another window. If I move that other window around,
the video image continues to be displayed only where it still overlaps.
It appears as an add in brightness.

Also. when Firefox window is made smaller, the video image remains unaltered.

This happens for some Youtube videos, on either monitor.
e.g.,http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=veq2gtfiaNA, and not others.
It never happened with the 7200GS

Any suggestions of how to fix?
