Default Need help with autostarting the nvidia drivers

Hi all,

I'll state the usual, I'm a newb at linux. I'm having a problem, I cannot get the nvidia driver to autostart (from the modules.conf). X works fine, hell I played Enemy Territory this morning, but I have to manually start the module using insmod everytime. I've been a good newb and RTFM'd but I still cannot get this damn thing to work right. I'm using Mandrake 9.1 with a GeForce 3 on an Athlon 1.4GHz, here is what my modules.conf file looks like, any help would be appreciated:

probeall scsi_hostadapter ide-scsi
alias eth0 tulip
alias char-major-195 nvidia
above snd-emu10k1 snd-pcm-oss
alias sound-slot-0 emu10k1
probeall usb-interface usb-uhci

just add a line to your /etc/modules
Code:

nvidia
yes its that easy

you can also load it by adding the following line to your /etc/rc.d/rc.local

Code:
modprobe nvidia
first method is easier less typing!
