Tried downloading the 290.10 driver multiple times. Each time resulted in an incomplete file. Attempting to run the script produces an unexpected EOF. See below:

If you're downloading through a proxy, it may have cached the incomplete file, and continues to serve it to you. Try downloading from another source, or using the FTP server (do nvidia still have an FTP server?).

Thanks! that was it. I tried downloading from a different browser and server and it worked fine.
