64bit Linux driver for GF 555 M

Dear NVidia,
I believe I am not the only one who is interested in the topic.
When is the driver for GF 555 M with 0x0DEB device ID (e.g. like in Lenovo Ideapad Y570 laptop) going to be released?
As it stated there http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree8...rtedchips.html
only GPU with device IDs 0x0DCD and 0x0DCE are supported.

Thanks for the bug report; can you please attach an nvidia-bug-report.log captured on the machine with the unsupported GPU as per the instructions in the sticky topics?

I filed bug 915816 to track this issue.

Note that the README only indicates that the driver supports specific GPU chips, and not that any laptop with a supported chip is supported.

If the laptop in question uses Optimus, and does not provide a means to disable the integrated GPU, then it is unsupported, regardless of whether the particular GPU is supported.

I am aware of Optimus issue, I am going to get it work with Bumblebee-Project though.
How can I track the issue? I can't locate a bug tracker.

Personally, as a Software Engineer, I am very disappointed that NVidia produced system-depended hardware.

The bug ID is for cross-referencing purposes on our side; there's no public tracker associated with it. I try to update the threads whenever there's anything noteworthy to report.

This is now fixed; the README of the next release should now correctly reference this particular product as supported.
