Dear NVidia,
I believe I am not the only one who is interested in the topic. When is the driver for GF 555 M with 0x0DEB device ID (e.g. like in Lenovo Ideapad Y570 laptop) going to be released? As it stated there http://us.download.nvidia.com/XFree8...rtedchips.html only GPU with device IDs 0x0DCD and 0x0DCE are supported. Thanks in advance. Yours sincerely, Vyacheslav Yurkov |

Thanks for the bug report; can you please attach an nvidia-bug-report.log captured on the machine with the unsupported GPU as per the instructions in the sticky topics?

Note that the README only indicates that the driver supports specific GPU chips, and not that any laptop with a supported chip is supported.
If the laptop in question uses Optimus, and does not provide a means to disable the integrated GPU, then it is unsupported, regardless of whether the particular GPU is supported. |

Thanks for your support.
I am aware of Optimus issue, I am going to get it work with Bumblebee-Project though. How can I track the issue? I can't locate a bug tracker. Personally, as a Software Engineer, I am very disappointed that NVidia produced system-depended hardware. |

The bug ID is for cross-referencing purposes on our side; there's no public tracker associated with it. I try to update the threads whenever there's anything noteworthy to report.

This is now fixed; the README of the next release should now correctly reference this particular product as supported.
