Alan Wake coming to the PC - Page 3

This game is already a wash in my book, but it's interesting to know at least it was enjoyed on the xbox. What's really funny is that I'm looking through old threads and there is one from 07 where Duke Nukem Forever, Alan Wake, and Rage are all mentioned.

We've got 2 out of 3 now...

It's actually interesting to see how many of these games were announced 4 years ago. Quite surprising when you think about it because they must have announced these titles with next to no code completed. And all of them are DX9 games with lower quality textures....

I guess if it will be priced around $30 including the DLC's, it could be a good deal, otherwise it's really not. The game was good, but not what you would expect from an AAA exclusive title. Personally, I would give it maybe 7/10.

Still not buying it, unless they pull of a miracle and make the PC version clearly superior.

I bought this for 360 for like $5 and never played it. I will however play it on PC. :

Howard wasn't lying. Have you guys seen the 360 version of Skyrim? It looks like **** compared to the PC version.

combined with atrocious load times. Annoying when you are just popping in to see a Jarl for a reward.

Don't play xbox but viewed a lot of gameplay vids on youtube of this game. Not impressed at all. Don't care for the look of the characters and the voice acting. Don't like the ongoing narrative throughout the game. Looked pretty dull to me. To make matters worse, it's probably going to be GFWL. Not going to bother with it.

I wouldn't write it off yet. 90% of people I know who actually played the game said the opposite of what you just said. The other 10% hate a game purely based on the platform it's on.
