That looks an awful lot like a game I was in yesterday...

When I started, not that many people were on (I think about 8), and I quickly, and pretty much single-handedly, gained a very fast lead.

Then, as a few more people joined, my machine's performance dropped a bit, and I had a harder time...plus I think some better players came on. anyway, my team lost 27-28.

ehh, theres gonna be an assault mod for the final ut2k3. i think that will be quite enjoyable and fix the problems that made the ut assault so hard for newbies and even skilled players.

dont mean to be an ass but....what was so hard about assault? took me longer to figure out what the objective of cannonball mod was...id rather have assault than the lame transportfest that is cannonball....

ehh, not that regular assault is hard, but i mean competitive online play that drove away ALOT of people. thats why you only see 100 assault servers or so. the rocketlaunching at first, was okay, it was easy to learn. but once came the hammer launching NOT hammer jumping, but two people, one launching the other across the maps allowing for beating the maps in less than 20 seconds really killed the game for public servers because you would have your clanners just killing and owning noobs, and the assault league or group of competitive players never had a chance to grow.

Except Bombing Run does suck when the translocator is enabled. It's far, far better with that disabled...hopefully in the final version, the translocator will always be disabled in Bombing Run.

In the meantime, it would be really nice if servers would voluntarily start disabling it...

Bombing Run is what I meant...sheesh....Cannonball is the bot that's been gettin some cheap shots off...hehehe......

i can get around fine without the translocator, i wish theyd just get rid of it......they should have jumpboots instead....

There's the speed combo with adrenaline and double jump/wall jump...who needs jump boots?

As a side note, though I'm not sure it really exists, I heard there was another combo that gave extra jumping...never found it myself, and that player didn't post the code.

I see most people get slower FPS in OGL,but running in OGL I get better FPS than in D3D. I get about 75 fps average running at 1024*768*32 ever thing max,I was excepting that it would be a lot lower when I was hearing about UT2K3.

This is great, my game is smooth completely with almost all settings up. I'm not using aa but i mean i really dont need it i cant see any bumps on the edges. The greatest part is that i only have a geforc2 mx. So that is great. That games is very impressive. Has anybody seen the incredible flag effects on the open field where the wind affects the flag? That is incredible. The reflections of the tv screen, off the water, that shadows affecting the gun. It's stinkin incredible.
