Use this link, and if you're on cable/dsl, etc. you'll have it in 5 minutes. Now time to see what this baby looks like...

on my bro pcs
dm-antalus = 138 fps
anisox16 = 135 fps
x4 AA = 115 fps
x16 AF and x4 AA = 90fps

man this thing fly with a R9700. It seems that the new drivers perform much better than the one from anands bench cuz im getting much better results than them and with p4 2.4 which is slower than theirs.

20-35 fps at all times, independant of resolution. My celeron is throttled I was very shocked at the difference between 16bit and 32bit colors though!! i must stick with 32bit from now on. Remember, an old system needs to be tweaked for maximum gameplay, but seeing the 16bit stippling is horrid!! When playing, it's 100 times more evident than it is in these shots.

16bit

32bit

I guess the video card will determine the performance of the graphics.

Default This game rocks!

I just stopped playing it for a brief moment to see what the general consensus was. I love this game. It runs remarkably smooth on my system in 800x600 32bits. Not sure frame rate, but it's more than playable. Bombing Run rules, but I have to disable the announcers, "Red team is on offense," stuff. Awesome game.

To display the frame rate:

- Press the Tab key
- Enter "stat fps" (without the quotes)
- Enter stat fps again to disable the counter

I'm dissapointed in the gameplay. Same old, just sped up, and a bit more refined with better graphics. I played for about an hour online with the various different modes and just became bored.

Runs great on mines at 1024x768 32 bits everything maxed. I haven't tried higher resolutions yet but I bet my rig can do it.

Thumbs up

It's pretty awesome. Of course, for me to get performance that I find acceptable, with the kind of IQ I like, I dropped back to 800x600x32, with every setting in the game jacked up, turned on Quincunx and 2x aniso (40.41 dets), and went at it. I still see drops into the 30's in some places (of course, I was in some wacked out player-loaded pubs too, lol). All I can say is it's awesome! On the other hand, I'd like my original sniper rifle back. That lightning gun, while well intentioned, is irritating. Somehow it doesn't feel like it hits where I aim, probably because it doesn't look like it (the lightning arcs toward the target and stuff, but it's exactly that arcing that's weird). And the shock rifle sound is wimpy (still, same as in the leaked version). It'd be nice to have the nice full BOOM back when you combo someone.

Otherwise, I can live with those few things. Time to bring on the retail, and also to get an AthlonXP 2700+ and nV30 (or better, a 3400+ barton and an nV30 ).
