Nexus S -- Sanded Back Cover

So I decided that the slippery and overly glossy Nexus S back was getting a bit old. I had some scratches and wanted to see what I could do about it. I found a thread over at XDA where they sanded the back covers and figured I'd give it a shot.

Well, I took the pictures with my roommate's EVO so they don't look great, but the overall result is almost identical to the post at XDA. Here's some shots of my actual phone. Anyone with super glossy phones I'd highly recommend considering this (looking at you Fascinate and Vibrant owners)

Or, you can just take the back cover off, clean it really good with rubbing alcohol and apply some spray on Plasti-Dip. It auto levels so you get a flat finish with excellent grip. If you don't like it, simply peel it off!

Plasti-Dip was my second option... Figured it'd be easier applying it over a sanded cover rather than sanding a cover covered in Plasti-Dip

I'm going to give it a few months and see how I like it... so far it's scratching up pretty quickly. I may just resort to Plasti-Dip in the end lol
