Firefox 7.0 Final released. All that hard work gone into improving Firefox has finally paid off and will continue to be improved upon in future releases. Significantly lower memory usage and significantly faster graphics engine. http://blog.mozilla.com/nnethercote/...an-and-fast-2/ http://www.basschouten.com/blog1.php...azure-vs-cairo |

SLOOOOWWWW DOOOOOWWWWWN!
The worst thing about these constant updates is waiting for addon support. By the time you get updates for your addons, they update FF again. ![]()

Didnt they say they'd be releasing updates every 6 weeks now? Seems that the version number is kinda pointless nowadays, chrome is upto version 14 already.

Updated on a PC at work but didn't get a chance to try it out. At home it says that it's up to date but is still on 6.02. There seems to be no way to tell it manually that it is not up to date... lame. Tried restarting several times now.

Did you try going to Help -> About Firefox then click the link to manually check for update? Is that where it said it was still up to date?

Yep, it was set to auto update but i still went there and it checks as soon as I open About. I turn off auto update and it has the button to check for updates. Both options result it in saying it's up to date with 6.02. I'm just not allowed 7 I guess...
