I added it to steam launch options.

Regarding worth buying? I think so. My only gripe at all is that the combat is tedious and poorly executed at times i.e. your enemies can hit you multiple times while your character goes through his animated staggering/recovering from the first hit. It can get super annoying just trying to break free to get a shot off if they pin you in a corner etc...

I noticed that with blur on you get blur effects when the **** is about to hit the fan. I would assume that is why they left the blur on. Granted it does get a little blurry at times, maybe if they allowed you to reduce it a little bit.

i find the animations bad, and gameplay and camera frustrating

Flares and their effects are awesome, combat is quite satisfying for me.

I liked it on the X360, might give it a shot on PC.

I'm really enjoying the game, but yeah, the voice animations are some of the worst I've ever seen in a modern game.

I must say the graphics are really good its a shame they didnt make it like it was meant from the start a huge sandbox game imagine how goood the game would be back then.

Alan sure do die a lot

I'm loving this game, even if I'm still fumble fingered getting him out of trouble. Getting really good at running from fights though..

I must say the lightning effects are the best ive seen in a game. The flair effects were really cool i died several times just by looking at it haha they did a good job on this version port or not.
