http://www.guru3d.com/article/his-ra...d-7950-review/ http://www.guru3d.com/article/powerc...50-pcs-review/ http://www.guru3d.com/article/radeon...ew-2-and-3way/ Unboxing of the Sapphire 7950 O/C 3GB Price for the 7950 seems to be around 550AUD to 690AUD, the 7970 is still 750-900AUD. For a single card gpu, that price is just too much. If it was in USD yea i would get it in a heart beat..but for the AUD asking price...not a chance. Happy with my 5870. Just have to wait and see what Nvidia brings to the table, that is when the prices will drop |

Launch prices are almost always high.
You pay the "impatience" tax... Nv should have their GK104 out by the end of the quarter, hopefully.

The price is around $450 USD, so it's $100 cheaper than the HD 7970.
Considering that this card beats the GTX 580 in almost all situations, runs cooler, uses less power, and is slightly cheaper than the GTX 580, AMD has made it's point. Unless you're a diehard Nvidia fan, there's no reason to get the GTX 580 anymore.

Too expensive. I can walk into microcenter and get another 580 cheaper than that. Both these cards are too expensive. AMD really had a chance to curbstomp NVIDIA but overpriced these imo

Be careful, some XFX does NOT have lifetime warranties.

You might want to think about returning those. The coolers on that version is absolutely crap, and even worse in crossfire.
