That's what you get when you live so far away from the US and Europe.
You're more than welcome to move over here, bro.

I'm watching the 7870 right now, but likely wont even considering purchasing a card until a month from now... at the earliest. Gives nVidia time to produce some competition. If this GTX680 is the contender against the 7970, doing as well as is rumored and being as power efficient as rumored... I'm *very* interested in what nVidia has to compete against the 7800s. If nVidia puts out a card that performs like the 7970, while consuming as much power and costing as much as the 7870... I just may go nVidia this round.

Ehh, looking around the NV benchmark rules BS, it looks on par with 7970 at the same price. I'm sure it will win in any NV-canted benches, but it will probably lose in bandwidth-limited cases and memory hog cases that go beyond 2Gbs limit. Pretty meh from my PoV.

A lot of those numbers look like a real load too... showing 7970 only 10% faster than 580? Only 17% more efficent? IIRC 7970 is about 56% more efficent than a 580 and at least 25-30% faster.

Also whats up with the 1080 benches, top end card, benching at below top end resolutions...

It looks pretty good to me. But that is toms hardware... I'll wait till Hardocp, TPU, or anandtech to judge it.
Does look to have good perf/watt, however.

However, it's still not a card for me(Sucks in compute).

Because about 90% of people game at or around 1080p? Lets me honest, how many people actually have a monitor that goes higher then 1920x1200? Very few.

You're right. Lets also be honest, how many games need this card or a 7970 to run at 1920x1200 at max settings? I can't think of any.

Not many but for me the upgrade comes at a dramatic power and heat savings. That's why I am interested in the new card.

Every game test also included results from 2560x1600, Kepler still wins.
