I installed Origin just for this demo. I held out until now, heh. I guess there's no way around it for when the game launches. I like the Demo so far, seems just like ME2, even the menus.
I hate to get off topic here a bit... Origin seems kind of dated compared to Steam. I have a Origin account, that's how you get into SWTOR and their services. It found my DA 2, but not my retail box installed DA1 and ME2. I added them via the product code entry but they still need DVD's to run. Is there any way around this? Can't Origin manage the DRM for the software? |

I liked ME1/2 and I think ME3 is just more of the same which is nothing bad. It's a great game looks better then the original (I'm not going to really judge eh graphics till the retail release since they could be releasing lower textures for a smaller demo size).
I'm glad the skill system got a small boost from ME2, its not more of a mix of the first two then just like the second. I feel like they mixed what they learned from the previous games and threw it all into this game. Vardant, I thought so too but it could be that they are just making Shepard closer to the screen. K007, The game has a lot more options available in the MassEffect3DemoConfig.exe. All Mass Effect games had a Config.exe. |

Well, I got the "claustrophobic" feeling, that I always get with narrow FoV. Didn't have that problem with ME2.

I got that as well but also get a zoomed in feel that this didn't give me which is why I think its more of Shepard being bigger on the screen this time around. Since its an UE3 game the FOV should be able to be fixed if it is all janky.

The demo predates that message.
