Official AquaMark 3 thread - Page 7

On 6800GT/1GB DDR400/P4:3.0GHz i get :

55,717
CPU score = 8,211
GPU score = 8,662

on the X800Pro the bench runs until the end i get an error messege "Access Violation" so i cant see my score .. anyone else know how to fix this ?? using 4.7 drivers .

geez, some of these scores are just insane lol. I only manage 53k on my 3.06@3.2 PIV, 1gb of ddr 2700 and x800 pro @ stock, not bad but uhh I cbf overclocking the card, it appears my ram is limiting me since switching mobos to an 865pe chipset really beefed up my cpu score by about 2k.

I might get ddr 400 in a bit though

Aquamark 3 is now irrelevant as a benchmark. Best of last Gen and especially 6800/X800s eat it alive.

Well, IMO it's still relevant. However, I do have a feeling that a lotta ppl run this while their CP is se to "No AF"... Then other people have it set to application preference, or the 4x that AQ3 asks for, and we all compare results like it's apples to apples... Same thing for 3dmark03... Methinks lots ppl bust out their scores not realizing it pwnz Joe X's score because they have the obligatory AF turned off in CP...

I'm not looking at this in any askew way, am I? My testing on both a 6800NU and a 5800U support this reasoning...

Heh, I don't know how long it took me to notice that 3dmark wants to run with 4xAF enabled.. heh

Hmmm, looks a little low... my 5800U scores 47708, 5684 GFX score in my A64 @ 2.1ghz rig... and my 6800NU gets 55635, 8025 GFX score... and @ 400/850 I get 58814, 8691GFX... this is with the default 4XAF turned on...
