I dont like how when you complete a mission it just throws you back to a cutscene on Normany or whatever, it was much better in ME2 where it showed a summary etc and what happend i think the game takes decisions for you in too many ways.

Finished the game. Didn't care for the ending I got. Evidently no one is quite sure how to get all the different endings. Even walkthroughs are really vague about it. Evidently Bioware is forcing the player to play multiplayer to get extra stuff to get endings you couldn't get without it. I think that sucks tying multiplayer to the ending of the story. I'd also liked to have seen the alliance kick more butt at the end and coming out intact with an urah instead of the Lifetime crap. They kind of chick flicked it at the end.

Love the game, hate the scanning/reaper alertness thing though. It's one thing they never seem to get right. I think I actually miss the Mako.

Super game so far, unlike me2 I quite enjoy the combat sections. The real quality though is seeing the old characters return and play a part in the story, some bigger part than others. I swear I leave the citadel for one mission and 5 emails ask me back. The planet scanning thing is still horrible, I wish they changed that.

I've played some multiplayer, it's not that hard to gain galactic readiness but you lose it over time

Man, I loved the game up untill it decided to bug out on me and crash. I love how they reference relationships in previous games in this one.

How does the character import work? Do you need ME2 installed for that to work?

Also how does your ME2 weapons/armor/stats factor into ME3 vs using a new character?

You just need the save to be on your PC. If you import you start with your level and skills from your previous save.

Just finished my first play through. I agonized over more decisions in this game than ME2. I lost my ME2 save long ago unfortunately, but I almost think ME3 may be a little better without it. I might miss out on some of the choices, but I think it really makes you think about the kind of sacrifices you might be willing to make.

I have to say that BioWare has quite nearly mastered the art of the FPS/RPG, taking the best of both and bringing them into synthesis, evolving it into a new genre of game play. The movement & cover system was very smooth in ME3, though at times I did find myself covering when attempting to access a terminal.

I played through as Paragon, so I'm interested to see what Renegade will be like.

I did run into a few bugs related to side quests (only on the Citadel for some reason) but I never had any of the main quests bug. Pretty good QC BioWare, best I've seen in awhile. Definitely a game I wouldn't think twice to recommend to friends, even those who have not played any of the ME series.

I was missing my pre order codes, first EA rep I spoke to (Live Chat) said the pre order stuff was multiplayer only and would auto unlock, when I told him he was mistaken he disconnected me and flagged my ticket as a ghost call. The next guy I spoke to checked my Origin ID and generated a code for me on the spot. I was happy, even though the first guy was a knob.

Also, OMG how hot is Ash, and that British chick? OMG the shower. Was so hard to stay true to Liara. Especially when she's all cold and distant now.
