I've just found Flipbook, I was happy with the iPad before, but now I love it. Best app ever. I'll also add, despite using it constantly I only need to charge it once every two days. I did have to get ASUS AI Charger for work though to charge it a little quicker. (BTW this app works on most motherboards, new and old and most laptops).

BTW (from a page or two ago), if you don't get 64gb you are crazy. App sizes are going to rise as more and more apps are updated for the retina screen.
See if its warm to the touch on the bottom left hand corner without your case on.

$759 for WiFi and $899 for WiFi + 4G.

Sure would be nice if they had expandable storage...

I can't understand why they are even offering the 4G down in this part of the world. It's not like Australia or New zealand have it for that matter.

I hope that when the next iPad debuts, they will up the standard storage to a minimum of 32GB or heck, 64GB. I agree with this statement.

"Post-PC area" is what everyone talks about now. So they shouldn't make the same mistakes again otherwise only the form factor changed. In my opinion, introducing a "visible" file system was one of the biggest mistakes in the early PC days. If you know it, then it's fine. But it's probably the most complicated thing to learn... Now, everything is or should be advanded enough to hide the file system from the user.
In a way I agree, but I would like to see expandable storage in a way that doesn't involve showing the user a file system. I've only owned 16GB or less iDevices and I've never had space issues; I guess I keep my devices well cleaned out. I think Apple's intent is to make more of the cloud and use it for storage versus physical storage.

But NOW it's time to abandon the filesystem. Otherwise the "Post-PC era" starts off wrong.
I totally agree with it breaking the ease of use mentality on the iOS devices, that stuff should be left on the desktops/servers/laptops.

Telstra does 4G here, most built up areas now. Problem is the iPad 4G doesn't match their system. Not sure what other carriers plan to do, they usually match what AT&T does.

Having said that our 3G is almost fast as 4G in the US, it's more a marketing thing in the US at this stage, but it is the way forward.

One thing to note if you are on Telstra, the 4G iPad has full HSDPA support and people have been reporting 30Mbps down. Still, it's over 100AUD more. I guess it's handy if you're commuting a lot. I have wireless at home, work, both Coffs and Newcastle and I have my iPhone. I can't imagine I'll need high speed internet for just browsing on the go.

I hope they do for the iPod touches as well. My iPod classic is getting on a bit, but it hold all my music, including a lot of lossless tracks.

Of course if the classic returns as a 200Gb+ device I'll be all over it. ::
