Taking Austin By The Horns at SXSW
NVIDIA is at South by Southwest (aka SXSW) to spread the word about the latest in media and entertainment.
SXSW, held annually in Austin, Texas, has become one of the largest and most important film, interactive and music festivals in the U.S. NVIDIA will be there, showcasing our strong partnerships with Dell and HP in two separate events.
Monday, March 12th, 3:30p(Central Time)
Dell, a 2012 SXSW Film Conference headline sponsor, and NVIDIA are co-hosting a panel sessionin Room 2 of the Austin Convention Center. The panel will discuss the transition from Apple Final Cut Pro on the Mac to Adobe Creative Suite Premier Pro on Dell Precision workstations, accelerated with NVIDIA Quadro pro graphics.
Dell has enlisted noted journalist Marc Loftus, senior editor for Post magazine, to moderate the panel and talk about the benefits and potential hazards of moving from one platform to another. Recent changes to Final Cut's feature set have become one of the most hotly debated topics in the media and entertainment industry, and Dell is bringing together a wide range of editors to talk in detail about their experiences.
