How can I get AVG Antivirus from one computer to another?
Hi, I have AVG Antivirus free on my desktop PC and I want to put it on my laptop without the need to download it again. How?

the tedious task of moving an AV from one to another is not really worth it. It ties into the registry of the installed computer and has multiple services. your better off to just re-download it on your laptop and install it instead of trying to drag it over. Why exactly cant you download it on your laptop?

I think with the AVG Free Edition you have to download it on each additional computer. If it is on a cd or you have a key and paid for it, depending on what one you bought, you can put that on multiple computers.
If you don't want to wait for it to download, just download it while your having lunch or something. Happy AVGin'
