Question AHCI on nForce 520: BIOS doesn't detect SSD

Good evening folks!

The last weeks I was fiddling around with my HP dv6653eg laptop to finally get my new SSD crucial M4 working in AHCI mode.
I just flashed a modded BIOS which unlocks the AHCI setting, but when I enable it, the BIOS does not detect it proper enough to boot from it. "No operating system found.", and it does not appear in the devices-list on bootup.
(But if I boot with PartedMagic, I can mount and access my SSD, but no idea which mode it is.)
Also my former HDD does not run in AHCI enabled mode...same problem. Win7 64bit setup detects it, shows the partition, but refuses to install referring to enable the controller in the BIOS.

Here a more detailed description of the process:

Could it be a chipset problem? CPU-Z gives me the following info:

Northbridge NVIDIA nForce 520 rev. A3
Southbridge NVIDIA ID0442 rev. A3

DMI Baseboard
vendor Quanta
model 30D0
revision 85.26

Any recommendations/ideas? I also stumbled upon the "IRQ Delivery Problem for MCP65" within the linux community...could it be an IRQ conflict?

Cheers, you guys are my last hope!
