I have a Thinkpad T61, with a NVidia Quadro NVS 140M and I always have this problem (2 years).
Using Debian 6 (32bits) and Kubuntu 12.04 64bits (actually with 295.20 driver), when I click in a menu it appear step-by-step and not smooth. After click on it +3 times it appears very smooth. All effects looks like with "hiccups" :-) Anyone knows what can be improved to give me a better experience? |

Disabling "Force Full GPU Scalling" improve the performance and effects are much better.
