Problem!

im using red hat 9 and i liked the installer i think it worked well. but now when i go o play games like tux racer they wont load at all and when i typed in glxinfo in the terminal i got this message:

[root@pc2-cove3-4-cust160 root]# glxinfo

do i have to edit my xf86config or something?

does glxgears run? at what framerate? i had minor pbs with tuxracer. i'm at school right now, so i can't do anything more specific, but i'll u/l my XF86config later. good luck.

i could run glxgears before, but now when i try i get this:
[tearne@pc1-cove3-4-cust160 tearne]$ glxgears
Xlib: extension "GLX" missing on display ":0.0".
Error: couldn't get an RGB, Double-buffered visual

Please help me, i have a geforce 4 card using redhat 9 on a 2.7ghz 80gb hd and 512mb machine

You need to instruct XFree86 to load the NVIDIA XFree86 driver and GLX extension modules, see the README for details; if you did, check /var/log/XFree86.0.log for error messages.
