Default i think the 8200m is making my kernel panic

i've tried a few different nv drivers, a few different distros, and my kernel still panics from flash, chrome, and watching movies with vlc.

now i'm using xubuntu 11.10 and the default nvidia driver with (post-release updates) and (version current-updates). this one seems to work the best, but it still crashes occasionally.

windows 7 on the same laptop doesn't crash doing these things.

any ideas? thanks!
