You meant the Project Offset engine! No wonder the lighting looks so good.

With how old that engine is, and with this being a PC exclusive, I'd not be surprised if it used a modified Offset engine, incorporating DX10 or DX11.

Anyhow, gotta' lot of reading to do. The more I learn about this game, the more I want it though. Already got about $1800 worth of upgrades in the basket @ newegg.

Looks like planetside 2...only in better condition. I find it hilarious that people are freaking out over stuff thats already been done in planetside 1 though.

Just signed up so maybe I'll get a beta invite, id be interested in trying it out since im a big fan of planetside and would like to see how firefall has tackled issues that allways gave ps1 problems. Namely, how do you open a part of the world to allow the capability if a 10-30 man outfit to join when ever they want while capping it or preventing choke points where all players amass too and bring down the servers doing it.
