Hi,
i get no 3D support for my GeForce4 FX 5600. I'm running Debian unstable (Sid) with XFree 4.2.1.1, Kernel 2.4.22 and 2.4.23-pre2 and the latest NVidia driver NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-4496-pkg2.run. Glxgears only gives 700-800 FPS. Hardware: VGA: Albatron FX5600 (%:~)- cat /proc/driver/nvidia/cards/0 Model: GeForce FX 5600 IRQ: 16 Video BIOS: 04.31.20.52.00 Card Type: AGP Mainboard: MSI KT4V-L (VIA KT400) CPU: AMD Athlon 3000+ This is what i see in /var/log/messages: Quote:

im using a 5600 with xfree86 4.3.0 and it works fine for me on my nforce 2 board. it seems as if your problem is with your agp gart module. try getting 2.4.23 final or if you wanna take a chance 2.6.0-test11 and see how they work. make sure you compile in support for your motherboards agp gart.
